Kalpana 3 is a story about a television crew whose lives change after an incident. Upendra (Upendra Rao) is a cameraman for a TV channel. He works with a team of fun-loving colleagues. Each day, they film stories and explore unusual places. One day, their boss sends them to investigate an old, abandoned house. People around say that the house is haunted, and it is not a good idea to visit it. However, the team goes to the house. At first, the group thinks the job will be easy. But once they step inside, they feel something is wrong. They hear strange noises and see eerie shadows. Upendra, his colleague (Avanthika Shetty), and another lead character (Priyamani) all begin to feel very uneasy as they explore the house. Soon after their visit, the real horror begins.
