Tantra

"Tantra" tells the story of Rekha (Ananya Nagalla), an innocent girl who is haunted by evil spirits that cause her fear and anxiety in her life. As she struggles with the frightening presence of these evil beings, her childhood friend Teju (Dhanush Radhumudri) steps in to help her. Teju has loved Rekha since they were young, but he faces many challenges in life. He is the son of a sex worker and often deals with harsh treatment from others. Despite the darkness around them, Rekha and Teju’s friendship grows stronger, showing their deep bond formed through their shared experiences and care for each other.  As the story goes on, questions come up: What dark reasons are behind the spirits chasing Rekha? Why does she drink her own blood? Through her search for love and identity, Rekha surrenders various parts of herself. The movie explores how love intersects with fear and fighting against evil powers while it addresses both psychological and supernatural aspects. The story presents spiritual battles that impact Rekha together with social barriers that result from Teju's origins.
