Notebook is the story of Raju (Rajeev), an orphan. His life changes when a zamindar takes him under his custody so that he can give company to his little daughter. Raju becomes a companion and playmate to the zamindar's daughter, Nandini (Gayathri). Raju and Nandini grow up together.
