Rules Ranjan is a romantic drama starring Kiran Abbavaram, Neha Shetty, Meher Chahal, Vennela Kishore and Subbaraju. Manoranjan (Kiran Abbavaram) is from a middle-class family in Tirupati. Although he is an average student, he works hard and gets a job during campus selections. He is a software employee follows strict set of rules in life. He lives in Mumbai and faces problems as he does not know Hindi language. With that, he also gets insulted in the office. However, he overcomes the language problem with Alexa. Later, he shows his talent and becomes a team leader. From then onwards, Manoranjan who is a rule-bound man makes everyone follow rules in the office. With that, everyone calls him Rules Ranjan. Then Ranjan falls in love with his childhood friend Sana (Neha Shetty) in Mumbai. With this, his life takes an unexpected turn. Sana is an independent and modern woman who confidently goes by her choice. Actually, Ranjan fell in love with Sana during college days. But he could not propose her due to fear. He meets Sana in Mumbai after several years. When he expressed his love, Sana also fell in love with him. Suddenly, Sana leaves Mumbai without telling him. So Manoranjan goes to his hometown to find Sana. The story moves on with the touch of romance, emotions and humour. Sana also has an elder brother (Subbaraju).
